This month’s updates are about two things: making it easier for your workers to report what matters and giving your administrators more visibility and control.
This month’s headline feature is a big one: your workers and contractors can now report an incident in seconds from the Rapid Worker app, with AI-powered write-ups and optional anonymity, making reporting easier, and more accessible, than ever.
There’s more too, with multi-language support now added to Rapid Incident Reporting, as well as new steps forward in our integration partnership with Gallagher. We’ve also been listening to our customers, as well as the wider safety industry and from that feedback, we have enabled finer control over admin permissions and E-forms now show on your Compliance Status dashboard.
This means easier reporting for those on the ground, and more visibility and control for the administrators behind them.
AI-assisted incident reporting in the Rapid Worker app
When incidents go unreported, workers are less safe and companies carry more risk. Rapid’s new AI-powered incident reporting, available in the Rapid Worker app, tackles that directly by making the process effortless.
Your workers can now simply capture a photo, record a voice note or type out some dot points and the app generates a full incident report, powered by AI. Reports are then reviewed prior to submitting, so accountability stays with the person on the ground. The offline-first design suits the real conditions of mines, basements, remote sites and anywhere else where connectivity is an issue, with reports created offline stored on the device, and synced once the network connection returns.

Optional anonymous reporting encourages more frontline reporting, including psychosocial incidents and combined with support for 30 different languages, we have removed the psychological and practical barriers that stop workers reporting incidents.
Speed, simplicity, offline capability and anonymity add up to a way to capture safety data that would otherwise go undocumented, and to help you meet your regulatory responsibilities while protecting your workers.

Gallagher sign in and sign out events now flow into Rapid Access
We’ve taken a big step forward in our partnership with Gallagher.
When enabled, the Gallagher integration syncs sign in and sign out logs to your Rapid Access dashboard, meaning your Rapid Access visitor logs and Gallagher access solution can run side by side, with the data from both on the one screen.
This means your team can now see who is on site, in the one place, without switching between systems.

E-forms now show on your Compliance Status dashboard
E-forms that need review and approval now appear directly on your Compliance Status dashboard within Rapid Contractor Management.
Previously, if an existing contractor company resubmitted an E-form for renewal, it was easy to miss until it was overdue, or you were checking records one by one. Now, that information sits directly in front of you, alongside the rest of your compliance overview, so you can catch renewals as they come in and act before anything lapses.

Rapid Contractor Management admin permissions expanded
You can now tailor administrator permissions at a more granular level in Rapid Contractor Management. New controls let you decide which administrators can:
- Set Secondary or Approved sites
- Add, remove, or edit sub-contractor information
- Resend registration emails
This means you can now give each administrator the access their role needs to a tee, giving you more control.
A better site access invitation experience
For customers managing site access within Rapid Aware, we’ve overhauled the invitation system with exciting new capabilities, including an improved pre-registration experience and support for group check-ins via Terminal and QR code systems.

Bug fixes and performance improvements
So much of our work over the last two months has happened behind the scenes. We’ve been reviewing your feedback on the upcoming new and improved Rapid Contractor Management, with some notable improvements and fixes including:
- Ability to preview Word documents in the document viewer without needing to download
- Improve the user experience navigating between documents and companies
- Improve the refreshing issues users mentioned when verifying documents or companies
- Fixes to updating contractor contact/admin name in the contractor details page
- Improve the sizing and positioning of “Notes” and “SWMS Checklist” panels
- Retain the Document Details panel open
We appreciate changing screens and buttons can take some adjustment, and hope that the lengthy Beta phase has provided a smooth transition to the new screens. A friendly reminder that cutover to the new version will occur on Wednesday, 29 July.
Alongside that, we have addressed various bugs and made performance improvements across the Rapid platform.
