This month we are excited to bring you forklift proximity notifications, improvements to the Trainee experience and Contractor Registrations, and more!

Real-time forklift proximity notifications

Stay on top of safety events as they happen, with our new real-time forklift proximity alerts.

While analytics and reports are valuable for tracking trends, immediate notifications about forklift near-misses help you address safety concerns right away.

When a near miss is detected by a camera connected to Rapid Monitor, supervisors can receive instant alerts via email or push notification, allowing them to investigate the situation while details are fresh, and take corrective action immediately – whether that’s addressing operator behaviour, fixing layout issues, or reinforcing safety protocols.

It’s like having an extra set of eyes on your warehouse floor, helping you maintain a safer workplace every hour of every day.

Contractor Registration improvements

Contractor registrations are crucial to make sure work can commence smoothly and without delays. This period, we’ve fine-tuned two key areas of the registration process to help contractors get started faster.

The Type of Work screen now features an improved layout and a new search function, making it easier for contractors to quickly find and select their relevant work categories.

We’ve also fixed the way we handle vehicle, trailer and vessel rejections during registrations, by bringing contractors straight back into the Transport section, ensuring submissions can be easily revised.

These improvements mean less time spent navigating our system, fewer support calls, and ultimately, getting your contractors on site and working sooner.

Strengthen your Training Process

Getting workers through their required training and compliance documents is essential for maintaining a safe workplace.

Course creators can now mark specific links as mandatory, ensuring workers engage with critical information before proceeding to the next section. This feature helps guarantee thorough completion of training materials.

As a subtle but helpful detail, we’ve also added automatic country flag detection in the trainee portal based on the browser’s timezone, reducing confusion, particularly valuable for organisations operating across borders.

Bug fixes and performance improvements

Behind the scenes, we’ve been fine-tuning our AI solutions to serve you better.

RapidCheck received updates to improve its handling of UK insurance documents and provide clearer error messages. You can learn more about RapidCheck here.
