March 2025 product updates

This month, we bring you an update to Rapid Aware’s UI, a new option to record non-compliant site access, a handy update to an API endpoint, and more!

Aware navigation updates

If you have Rapid Aware, you may have noticed that we have reorganised and redesigned Rapid Aware’s navigation bar into two sections: Access and Monitor, to simplify navigation and make it consistent with all the Rapid One products.

In the Access section, you can review events occurring at entry points: check-ins and attendance insights, and checkpoint activity in real time.

Monitor allows you to focus on camera-driven safety insights, in the form of safety checks: hi-vis vests, hard hats, forklift proximity, fire. Monitor also displays safety agent events, and camera activity in real time.

Aware is also now in the hamburger menu, so all your products are only one click away.

Improved Trainee Emails

Keeping track of inductions, courses, documents and forms to do takes time and effort, and delays the start of actual work.

With this release, trainee-related emails will now contain an updated link that will take trainees directly to the Trainee Portal when clicked, so they can immediately review the items that require attention, eliminating guesswork.

This functionality is available in the trainee email types below:

  • Document Rejected, Reminder, Requested, Expiring and Expired
  • Requirements and Pending Courses
  • Notification – Toolbox Talk
  • Pre-Employment Inductee Form Approval, Rejection

Record non-compliant access

In an ideal world, non-compliant individuals should not be allowed on site. However, sometimes exceptions need to be made in order to resolve issues.

That is why, in addition to the “Visitor Non-Compliant Entry” notification which alerts about individuals trying to enter a site without all their requirements up to date, this event can now also be logged in the Rapid Access logs.

Email updates per personnel type

Customers that require their communications to be written in multiple languages have even more emails available to customise per personnel type, to better accommodate global needs.

In this round of updates, we’ve included:

  • Contractor Document Expired (to Contractor, and to Admin)
  • Deactivated Contractor Notification

API improvements

Customers using our APIs for reports and integrations can now use the GET Inductee endpoint to retrieve Secondary Sites for Inductees.

Fixes and improvements

This month we focused on our APIs and Webhooks, powerful tools to accommodate integrations, custom requirements and more extensive reporting. We fixed a bug that caused webhooks not to be sent when an Admin manually signed a worker out, which was causing inconsistencies with entry logs.

We also did a few UI adjustments around times incorrectly displayed in BST, Safety Agent alerts and hyperlinks in forms from the Rapid Access mobile app.

We’re always listening

We continuously review and improve our applications, to ensure you get the best experience, so please do not hesitate to reach out to share your feedback, request features and troubleshoot issues.
