Introducing Rapid Worker: a simpler mobile app for workers and contractors

Rapid

We’re excited to introduce Rapid Worker – a new mobile app that makes it easier for workers and contractors to manage inductions, compliance and access requirements across Rapid-enabled locations.

Rapid Worker brings together key worker experiences from Rapid Induct, Rapid Incident, Rapid Auditor and compatible Rapid Access accounts into one modern app, reducing the need to switch between multiple apps just to stay work ready.

All action items in one place

When workers open Rapid Worker, they land on a central dashboard that shows what needs attention right now, across all sites and clients. In a single view, they can see which inductions or compliance tasks are due or overdue, any incident or audit actions assigned to them, and their current sign-in status. Rapid Worker makes it easier for workers to understand what they need to do next, without hunting through different apps or menus.

Notifications have also been improved, taking workers straight to the relevant task – for example, an expiring compliance item or a corrective action – helping them complete tasks faster and with fewer steps.

A more intuitive and accessible experience

Rapid Worker has been rebuilt from the ground up as a native app for iOS and Android. Workers will notice a cleaner, more intuitive layout that’s easier to navigate, support for light and dark mode, and improved accessibility. Signing in is also simpler and more secure, with support for device-level options such as biometrics. Altogether, this creates a smoother, more consistent experience for workers who interact with Rapid across multiple sites.

What’s available at launch

The initial release of Rapid Worker focuses on the tasks workers use most often.

Workers can complete inductions, submit documents and take courses through a refreshed interface. They can raise incidents, track corrective actions and complete assigned tasks from Rapid Incident and Rapid Auditor. For compatible Rapid Access accounts, they can see their active check-in status and use their device as a Rapid ID to securely check in at supported kiosks.

Rapid Worker will also support Rapid Induct’s new course experience, currently in the works, enabling enhanced training features in future releases.

What happens with existing apps

Rapid Worker is focused on the worker experience and is a completely new app, not a rebrand of an existing one. Existing Rapid Induct and Rapid Access apps will continue to be supported for the foreseeable future, particularly for customers using older access configurations. Rapid Admin and Rapid Aware remain unchanged and continue to serve their current audiences.

Adoption is optional and flexible, and can happen at each customer’s own pace. Organisations can gradually update their materials to position Rapid Worker as the primary app for workers’ day-to-day tasks.

Built for ongoing improvement

Rapid Worker represents the next generation of Rapid’s mobile platform, designed for continuous improvement and regular updates. In upcoming releases, we’ll add more Rapid Access content, the new and improved courses experience from Rapid Induct, and refine the user experience, accessibility and performance based on your feedback.

Rapid Worker gives workers and contractors a simpler, more modern way to interact with Rapid – and this is just the beginning.
