October 2024 product updates

This month, we bring you a major redesign of the contractor registration process, more configuration options for standard documentation, and worker compliance information on mobile.

Streamlined Contractor Registration Interface

We are thrilled to announce that our revamped contractor company registration process is coming very soon to all clients using our Rapid Contractor Management product. This update marks a significant improvement in both the usability and security of every step of the process, with a new user interface.

In addition, RapidCheck can now process key insurance documents—PLI (Public Liability Insurance), WC (Workers’ Compensation), PII (Professional Indemnity Insurance), and PIYI (Professional Indemnity and Yellow Card)—submitted during the registration process. This integration speeds up document approval, minimizing errors and allowing contractor companies to start work sooner.

Worker Compliance status included in My Card on Mobile

Mobile apps are the best companions for workers on the go because they are convenient and accessible anytime, anywhere.

In line with this, workers who use the ‘My Card’ feature within the Rapid Induct mobile app on iOS to identify themselves and sign in, can now display their real-time compliance status.

Android support is coming soon.

Primary Document Rename

To enhance the user experience of our international customers and cater to businesses that deal with multiple languages within their organization, we now allow Administrators to customize the default names of primary documents such as Workers Compensation and Public Liability Insurance, across the Contractor Portal and the Contractor Registration process.

This allows for better localization across different regions and legal contexts, making documentation management more transparent and straightforward. This is a critical step in our continual pursuit to make our platform more adaptable and user-friendly for our diverse client base around the world.

Bug fixes and improvements

Filtering tools are essential to mine and organize vast amounts of data efficiently. They enable users to sort data to find precisely what they need, thereby saving time and improving productivity. During this period, we identified and fixed bugs related to date filters in Incident, Worker status filters on Mobile and Document Status filters in Induct.

During this sprint cycle, we’ve made substantial strides in addressing document-related issues across our applications. Documents, as we know, play a crucial role in onboarding new workers, and establishing their compliance to perform specialized work. In Contractor Management, we tackled missing document requests during registrations and incorrect templates used for some notifications. Furthermore, we rectified issues with uploading documents via our Rapid Access terminals.

There are three main ways to retrieve information from our products: generating or scheduling regular reports, proactively looking for it using dashboards and filters via our apps, and getting real-time notifications via email, SMS or push. The key to the latter is speed and efficiency, to ensure the correct information is promptly relayed to the right people, leading to better decision-making. This period we addressed a few issues with RAS notifications that did not match their template, main admins that did not receive Incident partially submitted notifications, and intermittent issues with reminders for Contractor documents.

We’re always listening

We continuously review and improve our applications, to ensure you get the best experience, so please do not hesitate to reach out to share your feedback, request features and troubleshoot issues.
