A better contractor registration process

We are excited to announce that our revamped contractor company registration process is here. This update marks a significant improvement in both the usability and security of contractor registration for all clients using our Rapid Contractor Management product. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Security enhancements: Registrations are secured through session enforcement and expiring links.
  • Streamlined document processing: RapidCheck now verifies insurance documents during registration for quicker approvals.
  • Improved registration flow: Early ABN selection and fewer steps to reduce errors. 

A fresh look and intuitive experience

The new registration interface is cleaner, providing a more user-friendly and intuitive navigation experience. Contractors will appreciate the simplified process, with some sections now grouped to reduce confusion. Key steps, such as ABN selection, are positioned earlier to minimise common errors. Additionally, a progress bar clearly indicates how far along the process is and how much is left to complete—eliminating guesswork. 

Enhanced security 

Security is at the forefront of this update. We’ve introduced several new safeguards to further improve data protection and maintain process integrity. Registrations must now be completed in a single session, reducing the chance of errors and unauthorised access. The provided registration links are designed to expire after a set period, ensuring that only authorised users can proceed. Moreover, the registration process now begins with a sign-in, which adds another layer of protection against duplicate accounts and unauthorised access. 

Faster turnaround for document verification

RapidCheck, our internal verification tool, now processes key insurance documents—PLI (Public Liability Insurance), WC (Workers’ Compensation), PII (Professional Indemnity Insurance), and PIYI (Professional Indemnity and Yellow Card)—submitted during the registration process.
